Kaleemullah Khan Jr signs for Turkish 2nd tier club Sariyerspor

15-year-old POPO FC prodigy Kaleemullah Khan Jr has officially signed with Turkish side Sariyerspor, marking a historic moment for the nation. With this groundbreaking move, he becomes the very first local-born Pakistani player to sign for a club in Europe.

After a successful trial period and continuous negotiations with both Karagumruk and Sariyer, the talented youngster opted to join the latter. He will initially integrate into the Sariyerspor U19 squad for the upcoming season on a scholarship and has signed 2 year contract, with his eyes set on eventually breaking into the senior team, which currently competes in the Turkish second tier.

Football clearly runs in the family, as the young star is the brother of established Pakistan international Saadullah Khan. Kaleemullah has already made major waves on the international stage himself, famously scoring a hat-trick in his debut game for the Pakistan U17 national team.

Before fully shifting his focus to his new club in Turkey, he will be back in green representing the Pakistan U16 squad next month for their upcoming tournament in Kazakhstan.
